Australian fragrances
Yalana is about the feeling a fragrance gives you. Confidence. Sensuality. Familiarity. That little shift in mood when you put something on and suddenly feel more like yourself. Founded by Carly Berry, a Wanarruwa woman, Yalana takes its name from the Wanarruwa word for moon — a symbol of rhythm, transformation and connection to self. The collection is three fragrances strong and all have a personality of their own while working as a collection ncredibly well together if you like to layer.
There’s a real sense of identity across the Yalana range.
Each fragrance feels distinct, but there’s a common thread of warmth, depth and texture running through the collection.
Spice, amber, woods and florals feature prominently, with compositions that continue to develop well beyond the opening.
All three are expressive fragrances with their own evocative twist, but still very wearable. The kind of scents that feel like they each serve a purpose and represent a mood.
Our favourites:
Veyra — bright saffron, spice and florals with a darker leather and amber base. Sweet and sensual without becoming heavy.
Noctis — fresh and peppery up top before moving darker and spicier. Sexy, confident and particularly good at night.
Ignara — frankincense, rose, tonka, vanilla and amber. The richest of the three, with a warm Arabic-inspired character.

Yalana was founded around a simple idea: fragrance doesn’t need to tell you who to be.
It can become part of your own story instead.
Founder Carly Berry created Yalana following experiences travelling solo and connecting with people around the world. That sense of memory, place and human connection runs throughout the brand.
Each fragrance is designed to unfold slowly on the skin and become associated with the moments in which you wear it.
There’s also purpose behind the bottles.
Yalana donates $1 from every bottle sold to Change the Record, a First Nations-led coalition working to address systemic violence, incarceration and family violence affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
Australian made. Bottled in Melbourne. Personal, confident and built around how fragrance makes you feel.
