Australian fragrances
Built on the belief that scent holds the places we come from, and the ones we hope to find.

Harlowe Parfum is the work of Australian founder Terri Barakat, whose relationship with scent has always been deeply tied to place.
Her fragrances draw from a life shaped by Greece, Lebanon, Hawaii, and Australia; each with its own textures, colours, and atmosphere. That blend of cultures gives Harlowe its signature tone: warm, transportive, and rooted in real experience rather than abstract poetry.
These perfumes feel like postcards written in scent: citrus groves warmed by Mediterranean sun, spice markets alive with saffron and smoke, tropical mornings washed in salt and light.
Harlowe sits in a sweet spot: modern but timeless, romantic but not overly delicate, inviting without being predictable. It’s niche perfumery with a clear point of view – vibrant, personal, and shaped by lived experience.
Our favourites:Bondi Afternoon: bergamot, cardamom and elemi opening into fig wood, ambroxan and cedarwood. Effortlessly cool, easygoing, and sunlit. Smoked Velvet is dry cacao, orange and clove with shadowy cedarwood, amber and a soft vanilla finish. Smooth, smoky and textural.

Terri’s background in fashion design shows in the structure of her perfumes: clear composition, thoughtful layering, and a technique that feels balanced from top to base.
Every bottle is created with the same ethos she wants to pass on to her daughters, that creativity, resilience and ambition can build something meaningful.
Harlowe also keeps its craft grounded in responsibility, with Australian production that meets strict safety and quality standards.
