Australian fragrances
At Grimoire Parfums, perfume isn’t trend — it’s lore, craft, and character made by hand in Melbourne.

Grimoire Parfums is one of those rare Australian houses that feels genuinely independent — not just in branding, but in the way it’s built. Founder-perfumer Trung Vu creates everything by hand (formulas, labels, the lot), and the whole brand is driven by mythology, ritual, dark fantasy and psychological tension rather than mass appeal.
The result is perfume with real presence: bold, atmospheric compositions that don’t play it safe — and don’t bother labelling themselves “for men” or “for women”.
These are parfum-strength releases (22–30% concentrate), so they wear with weight and develop slowly — very much a “wear it with intention” house.
Our favourites:Nephilim for its wild red-wine-and-rose darkness (red wine, ivy, tomato leaf, rose, resins, civet/vanilla) and Nøkken for its eerie forest-and-sea vibe (blackcurrant/shiso/galbanum into fir, seaweed, woods and incense).
If you want the best overview, the Ex Fabularum Discovery Kit is a great entry point (5 x 1.5ml): Nephilim, Todorac, Nøkken, Penanggal, Catoblepas.

Grimoire is for people who are bored of safe releases and want something that feels like a world — not a product. Everything is handcrafted in Melbourne in small batches, with materials chosen for quality (including specialist suppliers), and the brand openly embraces unconventional ingredients that bigger players can’t (or won’t) use.
Worth noting: shipping is currently Australia-only, and while most of the range is vegan, Todorac and Nøkken are exceptions.
