Bodhi River Parfum is an independent creative perfume house handcrafted in small batches from the Northern Rivers of New South Wales. Each scent is the labour of creator Rhys Slater, a self-taught perfumer inspired by life’s intimate moments and the wonder of watching his young son grow.
At Bodhi River, fragrance is about story, family and personal experience. Every bottle is an emotional snapshot, blending artistry, memory and connection to create scents that feel timeless yet deeply human. We love how Rhys has been able to incorporate the important people and times in his life into the creation of his fragrrances and create something truly personal through this process.

Rhys formulates and blends the perfumes by hand, meticulously investing in every creation. Like for many perfumers, his Northern NSW studio is both workshop and creative home, where each bottle becomes an expression of life’s fleeting, meaningful experiences.
