Did you know there are over 100 independent Australian fragrance brands?

I certainly didn’t — until very recently, when I decided to do something about it.

When I first got into collecting fragrances, I was determined to support local aussie brands. But I quickly realised how bloody hard they were to find!

And for good reason.

Between global designer houses and legacy retail stores dominating search results and shelf space, it’s damn tough for independent Australian brands to rank online or gain meaningful exposure on social media.

So I did the legwork and somewhere along the way, that experience became the spark for Scent Assembly.

Right now, we proudly feature 18 incredible Australian fragrance brands — and we can’t wait to welcome many more.

But in the meantime, we wanted to create something bigger:

A living, evolving master list of Australian fragrance brands — all in one place.

Our partner brands are featured first (because they’re helping build this movement with us). Then you’ll find the extended list.

Let’s go.
